I’m Pleun, though friends often call me Pleno, and overseas, I even go by Bruno*.
After years of dreaming and countless moments of ‘what if,’ I’ve taken the plunge to leave my life in the Netherlands and embark on an exciting adventure in Portugal.

Definition:
A profound emotional state characterized by a deep longing to stay in Portugal and immerse oneself in its rich culture, history, food, and nature. This feeling combines the nostalgia and yearning (saudades) with the desire to remain (ficar) in the experience.
•Example: “After spending a summer in Lisbon, he felt a strong sense of Saudafica, wishing he could stay forever and continue to explore the vibrant streets, savour the cuisine, and soak in the cultural heritage.”
